A network is a group or system of interconnected people or things. This week I’ve been working on networking with people, contacting professionals, and networking in devices by researching The Internet of Things (IoTs) and learning about numerous internet protocols. I have also worked on my digital portfolio by completing the implementation of the Twitter cards and furnishing my resume. I have begun contacting professionals in Computer Engineering in order to learn more and to get insight on where the field may be headed. While I have begun networking with people by contacting professionals, I have been furthering my depth of knowledge about networking among devices by researching IoTs analyzing their potential effect on the world and the developments they will spur.(Read More) I also learned about Internet protocols and their importance; I focused on the OSI model and the TCP/IP model learning about the different layers that compose each protocol, their similarities and differences, and how they work with Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and other protocols from HTTP to FTP. I have completed the implementation of Twitter cards by adding the required meta-data within the html and verified its functionality through Twitter’s card-validator and was able to tweet a link to my latest research post.(View Tweet) I am excited to move forward and meet professionals and learn more about Computer Engineering.
