I have been hard at work this week learning about the Cisco IOS (Internetwork Operating System), working on my resume, analyzing the Apple conference, and polishing my digital portfolio. Using the IOS I learned how to: configure the switch using the console port; enable a password for each level of access including Console, Privileged User Exec and Global Configuration; and how to encrypt those set passwords. Also on the digital portfolio I began working on integrating social media sharing for my posts, designing a layout and laying down the framework for Twitter Cards. This week in I officially got the green light to begin contacting professionals to learn more about computer engineering. I look forward to meeting with professionals to learn more about the field!
